Oscar wanted to take some panorama shots (posted in the Panoramics menu at the top of the page) of Downtown Floyd this weekend, so we decided to go Sunday morning, when there would be little foot or car traffic in the shots and then have breakfast at the Blue Ridge Restaurant. We took the shots and wandered in just after they opened at 8am, with a few other people who had been waiting for the doors to open.

As usual, with intentions to order a big plate of pancakes I somehow ended up with a big omelet, biscuit and thin sliced fried potatoes. This morning they were crunchy, so they made nice scoops for the overflowing veggie omelet filling. The biscuit was big and moist, and I wished I had remembered to sneak in my jar of apple butter this time (it was only a small sacrifice to butter it up and it eat it plain...). Oscar had his usual egg and cheese on a biscuit with a side of grits which is hard to beat while sitting back with a cup of coffee on a warm sunny Sunday morning and people watching in Floyd.  I swear, NEXT time I will order the pancakes... and remember the jar of homemade apple butter.

I have hives and it sucks. Too much sunlight appears the most plausible cause.
