Two plus years ago, I raised my hand one too many times and won a distressed mountain cabin at foreclosure auction in Floyd County, Virginia. A surreal out-of-body experience frankly. Since, we survived complete renovation from top to bottom riddled with every possible setback along the way. Mindy's "Bad Labs blog" chronicles those trying times, and the pain of penning all the checks. Alas we are here now and our dream of the Farm @ Dog Days Place has come to fruition through the most unimaginable course of events. After all, we are career IT professionals, how odd we would desire such a life altering change. Simply this; quality of life.
